This is a working preview of the new Folded Note Design site. Like, seriously pre-alpha level. I mean, like, "Hey, come check out my new place, NO DON'T GO INTO THE BASEMENT WE FORGOT TO INSTALL THE STAIRS AND ALSO THERE ARE WOLVES DOWN THERE" levels of not-there-yet-ness. Which is to say pretty much anything is likely to break. It's a work in progress and I love where the progress is taking me. Feedback is awesome.

Poppin' keyframes like candy.

Moving things around in time and space is cool. Creating and capturing that motion is even cooler. Obsessively going frame by frame and tweaking details and massaging keyframes and doing things nobody will likely ever notice is...pretty dorky. Luckily, I'm...pretty dorky.

Walking Alone at Night

This project. Oh, this project. This will always hold a special place in my heart.

The Reds: Teaser & Trailer

This graphic novel chapter originated as a school project. I used it as an excuse to create some motion work for myself: a short teaser clip and then a trailer video.

I Am In Here

A kinetic type video that let me play with the idea of type as a physical object, telling a story about the space around it.

Folded Note Design teaser video

When I launched the original version of this site I created a short teaser video highlighting the main categories through which I was promoting my work. (I was morally obligated to include some paper folding in it.)

Music Video: dukakis

dukakis was a joke band. Then I started screwing around with music apps, and dukakis had some actual music. And then I made a music video for some of that music.

The moral of the story? Jokes are hilarious.

Day job work

By day, part of my job has involved doing motion and video work. I'm behind most everything you see on the company's YouTube page. Personally, I think the NADA trailers I've gotten to do are the most fun.

There's a few other little things I've done along the line.
